Well last night Michael brought up that he is thinking of taking up a trade in HVAC. We briefly discussed this and he has my full support, he just needs to decide if this is what he wants to do. There are pros and cons of course but I'm really hoping he goes this route.
PROS
-year round work (not seasonal)
-pay is less per hour to start but increase in annual salary
-more $$ in the long run (and short term)
-more stability (in industry)
-easier to budget
-home during the week at a decent hour (gets home at 8pm now)
CONS
-weekend availability
-on call
PS- still waiting on Canada Revenue Agency...they have stated that the system has been changed you can no longer see the results in advance so we have our fingers crossed for the results on Monday.
