We sure spent a lot of money yesterday! We decided to buy a golfing net that we can put in my parents backyard instead of speding all of our money at the driving range. Mr. K already has a mat to use with the net so we didn't need to purchase that. So the net came to $138.00 but the spending didn't stop there...
We went to the dreaded Shopper's Drug Mart. I needed a second electric toothbrush as per my dentist as my gums are started to recede slightly. I, of course was looking at the $29.99 models but Mr. K who we heavily invested in his teeth in the last year and he isn't done thought we should go for the top of the line model as it has many different settings but more importantly will inform you if you are using too much pressure- which would cause your gums to recede. As much as it pained me I did give in and bought a few other related purchases. We walked out having spent $258.00 OUCH!
So today, I had to transfer money from our Miscellaneous Fund savings account that we have at another bank to our banking account to cover the cost. Not what I was hoping to use the money for but what can you do- it's the purpose of this account. For over and above spending that we both agree on.
It's so funny how when you have debt you don't care what you spend but when you have savings you don't want to touch it!
