Big Visa Payment

Today Mr K's paycheck was larger than expected for 3 days pay. I suspect a payroll issue- something that has happened before with this particular company-- they were the cause of the government charging us $28,000.00 for unpaid taxes. If they are doing this again I will be ready to tear a strip off of them. At least I'm around to know what Mr K should get and will get it fixed. I will be stupified if they are forgetting to charge taxes again after the hell it put us through during the past year. The reason I am suspicious is Mr K was told how many hours he would be paid so I already did the payroll calculations on my end--it came in to be much more, and I'm concerned they didn't deduct income tax. It does look like they deducted EI and CPP- which I guess it better than nothing. Who the HELL does their freaking payroll!!! Incompetent ass cost us so much money. It is illegal in Canada for a company to not deduct taxes. Unfortunately they pay a government fine which does not help the person who has to repay all the taxes back!! How unfair is that- We didn't do any legal proceedings as it wouldn't help us. We didn't expect or think they owed the full amount but felt they should share the financial burden with us.
