BIG NEWS!!!!!

Well.... We Bought A House!!!!!
I'm still in shock and quite taken aback with everything. We were pretty well going for the condo and Mr. K in all his wisdom suggested we at least look at the new housing in our area before we commit- and as it turns out we are able to pull off a house! Not even the townhouse we thought we'd be getting! We have stretched our budget to get the biggest house on the nicest lot (that we can afford) and it turns out it's a house we will never need to move out of. Granted we have $0 for upgrades so I will have carpet- which I hate with a passion. But I'm willing to live with it all and over the years we will upgrade what we can. Mr K is super handy and can do plumbing, electrical, construction- you name it.
I am excited and super stressed out at the same time. The house isn't built yet- we have seen the dirt pile.
We had to make a financial commitment to the bank about where our finances will be at closing time and it's going to be tight. It should actually ease up slightly once we're in the house (fingers crossed). right now our #1 priority is to pay off everything possible so we get our mortgage approval and don't lose our $20,000 deposit. YIKES~
