Credit Line Increased

Our credit line was increased yesterday. With the banks going crazy with interest rates it made much more sense to increase our credit line and pay less than half the interest on our next car loan. The increase was for more than we actually need, but that's not an issue it doesn't hurt us.

Hopefully we will find our second vehicle this weekend, the sooner it is resolved the nicer it will be. I like our numbers to reflect where we are.

Our credit line debt will go up when we put the car loan on it and again in November and January when we pay the 2 final deposits to our new home builder.

I reviewed our budget and we should be in a good place when it is time to qualify for our mortgage and I think we should also be okay to get our appliances on credit *sigh* but we are planning to go for a 2 year payment plan so that 2 years following the purchase they are paid in full- no more payments then 6 months after that my car will be completely paid off!! That is when life will really start to be comfortable for us.

I've done a lot of reading on appliances and the bottom line was: pay the extra amount for energy efficient appliances as you will make it back in 7 years. I intend to keep my appliances for more than 7 years so it makes sense.
