I can't believe how long it's been since the last time I blogged here.
Life has gotten extremely busy- work life that is. I have been overwhelmed with work literally filling in for 2 positions, 1 as a supervisor and 1 as a manager. This week I logged 18 hours of overtime.
I will find out tomorrow if they will sign off and pay me for this time. It would be a huge help in getting ahead.
Mr. K has been logging lots of hours and every dollar is helping us to get ahead.
My overtime if approved will likely only continue for a few more weeks and I will take advantage of this small window of opportunity.
Our second downpayment is due next week, this one will be covered by RRSPs from my work plan. It will be a few hundred dollars short so we will be supplementing that will cash from the credit line.
A few weeks ago we went into the bank and asked if there was any possibility of getting a decrease in our interest rate and voila!! it went from 7% to 6.38%. again, it's making a big difference on such a large outstanding balance.
