Well, everything is set up and our builder will withdraw our final payment tomorrow. So we are getting there, closer to knowing where we will stand financially.
Things should start getting even busier in the next little while. We were contacted and found out that our kitchen cabinet supplier has finally been decided (the previous supplier went bankrupt leaving our builder in quite a lurch and they are still behind). On Wednesday we should be able to pick up our "upgrade" package- a 30 page book that outlines all our options and the price the builder will charge us. We are anxious to have a look at this and see what if anything we can do. We will only be considering structural type changes we cannot make later. We have already decided that we will have the 3 piece bathroom in the basement roughed-in. It is well worth the money, and way too much work to have Mr. K break up all the concrete after the fact.
