Kitchen Cabinet Potential

A good friends of ours, one of my fiancé's groomsmen actually works in sales for a stain/laquer company and has offered to see if they have any contacts with our kitchen cabinet supplier for upgrades direct from the manufacturer. We would not consider an upgrade with the builder but someone he works with was able to get an upgrade that the builder charged $6000+ for from the builder for under $1500. We have our fingers crossed- the same company provides our cabinet hardware and countertops.
