Our credit line was increased yesterday. With the banks going crazy with interest rates it made much more sense to increase our credit line and pay less than half the interest on our next car loan. The CSX was dropped off at the dealership tonight and we have signed away the vehicle. YAY!! We have accomplished step #1 to getting our mortgage. I totally forgot that my mom owed Mr K money for renovation work that he did on the weekend and it was in our account this morning. Well, I thought we had quite the setback but as it turns out not nearly as bad as I thought. In fact, we were able to make a payment to our first Visa already this week. I have decided that it only makes sense that since I implemented the networth calculator that I should include the two debts that I have not previously included- our car loan and car lease. You will notice an increase in these areas. At least the loan I will offset with the equivalent asset value, the lease will not have any offseting values.

As you know we opened up a no fee daily banking account, one of the issues I have been struggling with is that we have to keep our old credit line at our current bank. Our debt load is to high to be approved to move it. Our plan for the next couple of weeks as you know is to pay for Mr K's teeth whitening. We have a scheduled consultation on Thursday evening. We have to see if he is a viable candidate- the only issue I foresee is that he had a chipped tooth in the front that has been filled in, so that will no longer match. I really don't want to add that to the cost.

Consider no fee daily banking accounts. It can be a lot of work to switch initally but the offerings are great. Here in Canada we have PC Financial which has been operating for 10 years.
